2. Wilkinsburg (Pa.) Railroad Station and Marker
of origin for trains on the Pennsylvania Railroad "Main Line" for over one hundred years. The station was built as part of a major capital improvement project on this line. Its restrained Beaux Arts styling and its prominent location in the community mark it as a significant product of America's "Railroad Age."
