Inscription. On this site on June 14, 1814, was built the log cabin church building which housed the congregations of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and Zion Reformed Church (now: Zion United Church of Christ).

We thank God almighty for His grace these many years: we pray for guidance for the future through the presence of his holy spirit: and we dedicate ourselves anew to the work of Jesus Christ in redeeming the world. Amen.
