In 2019, a mural committee was formed with the goal of honoring and beautifying our town. Financial support was provided by Skyranch, the VFW, various local residents, businesses and developers. A nationally recognized professional artist and illustrator, Raine Clotfelter, was contracted to create two murals. Mural one highlights life in the village of West Jefferson's past, present and future. Mural two pays homage to our great country. Both murals were completed and dedicated in a ceremony in September 2021.
