Anthem Lodge #284 was founded in 1886 and met in a 2 story frame building on this site. In 1915, it was purchased by Greenlee Bakery. During its heyday it produced 3,500 loaves per day! It burned down in 1916 & again in 1929, at which time the existing brick building was built.
