The Pfaltzgraff Co., America's oldest pottery manufacturer, began in York County in 1811 with the modest one-man pottery-making business of Johann George Pfaltzgraff.
From the hand-thrown ware of the early 19th century to today's state-of-the-art technology, Pfaltzgraff products have reflected the needs and demands of a changing society.
