Industrieel complex uit de 18e eeuw waarin onder andere bierbrouwerij 'De Trompet', mouterij 'De Leeuw', een limonade- en likeurfabriek, een fabriek van ijsstaven en een brandstofhandel in waren gevestigd. De twee gevelstenen in de voorgevel verwijzen naar de twee laatste activiteiten. Huidige functie: kantoren, horeca en woningen. Het pand, een Rijksmonument, heeft een unieke gerestaureerde gevelreclame met twee door elkaar lopende teksten uit verschillende tijdsperioden.
Malthouse De Leeuw | Zuid-Hollandse Brewery
Industrial complex from the 18th century in which, among other things, the beer brewery 'De Trompet', malthouse 'De Leeuw', a lemonade and liqueur factory, an ice cream bar factory and a fuel trade were located. The two facade stones in the front facade refer to the two last activities. Current function: offices, catering and housing. The building, a national monument, has a unique restored facade advertisement with two intertwining texts from different time periods.
