Church History
1889 Maxwell Providence Mission Church was organized at District 25 schoolhouse, Maxwell Township
1890 First church was built across the road & 1/4 mile North from this site.
1904 Purchased Methodist church building in Oshkosh Township and moved it to this site.
1913 New church was built with furnace and gas lighting. It burned down in 1923.
1924 The church was rebuilt on the same foundation.
2003 Built new church 1.5 miles north of this site.
