1. West End Rangers Marker
Inscription.  
The West End Rangers, formed in 1899, was the only PEI team in the Colored Hockey League. Based in Charlottetown’s Bog neighborhood, the Rangers were known for their strength and skill. In 1901, they easily beat the visiting Truro Victorias 15-0! Predating the NHL by more than 20 years, the league operated from 1895 to 1930s.

Les West End Rangers, formés en 1899, étaient la seule équipe de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard à faire partie de la Colored Hockey League. Basés dans le quartier «the Bog» de Charlottetown, les Rangers étaient connus pour leur force et leur habilété. En 1901, ils ont facilement battu les Truro Victorias en visit 15-0! Précédant la LNH de plus de 20 ans, la ligue a fonctionné de 1895 aux années 1930.
