Inscription.
Summertime on PEI wasn’t complete without a trip to the Exhibition. Families like Dolly, Ann, and Charlotte enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells of this highly anticipated event. Which took place every August. Exhausted little Islanders could be rallied in the 1950s by offering perfectly spun cotton candy, the shiny coating on a candy apple, or the cheeky grin of Kewpie Doll.
