Billy Goat Strut
Louisville is not just known for its Bourbon, it's also one of the world's great racing destinations. But in the early 1800s, decades before the city's most famous racetrack opened. Louisville's settlers, merchants, gamblers, and traders used to crowd into this stretch of alley to watch billy goats race through its narrow confines, earning it the name Billy Goat Strut.
