1. Grammar School Marker
Inscription. Designed by renowned architect William Butterfield and constructed by E.B. Hutchinson in association with Pittsfield's esteemed contractor Charles H. Lane, this building initially served as a high school. It also contained primary and secondary grammar school grades. It ceased being a high school in 1892 and a grammar school in 1989. Substantially remodeled, it was dedicated as the new Town Hall in 1995.

3. Pittsfield Grammar School
The 1890 building was substantially reconstructed in 1995 to become Pittsfield's Town Hall. The slate floor in the entryway is made of the former school's blackboards.
