1. St. John Street Marker
Inscription.

Standing on the corner to your left, this 1912 image shows a trolley car traveling south on Saint John Street. The bypass for the trolley line, allowing cars to travel in either direction, was located at this intersection of Union and Saint John Streets. The church on the left was the First United Methodist Church located there until its destruction by fire in 1980. The Schuylkill Haven Public Library was established in 1934, this its fifth location, opening in August of 1964.
