1. Union Traction Trolley Company Marker
This early twentieth century image shows Willow Street looking east toward Dock Street with the trolley tracks of the Union Traction Company of Pottsville running through the dirt street. Willow Street was the first street in Schuylkill Haven that the trolley entered. The Pennsylvania Railroad station on Haven Street is visible in the distance. A favorite car of patrons was the "Highball," an open air car which ran in summer, taking patrons from Schuylkill Haven to Adamsdale Park.
