1. Schuylkill Haven High School Marker
Inscription.

This school building was originally constructed as the Schuylkill Haven High School. This 1923 image shows what was at the time a modern school building. It was opened for occupancy in September of 1917 at a cost of $80,000. On December 5, 1937, the entire third floor was destroyed by fire. The two buildings to the rear of the school, one a cafeteria and the other an agriculture building, were added in 1951. This building became the Middle School in 1970.
