1. Dick Horning Memorial Field Marker

Inscription.

This facility is dedicated to the memory of Dick Horning, President of the Schuylkill Haven Little League Association and Director of the Little League from 1982 through 2005. Under his leadership three playing fields were constructed and improved, and the present field was established as one of the finest in the area. Dick worked tirelessly as a volunteer for the Little League program in Schuylkill Haven, devoting many hours year-round to the operation of the program and upkeep of the field and buildings. He made Little League baseball an enjoyable experience for many of the youth of the community.
