Inscription. The Union Savings Bank and Trust Company opened for business in July of 1891. By June 1892, the business had grown into this building at 20 Lower Main Street. Union Bank has expanded over the years into the rebuilt Green Mountain Block on the building's right. Now a regional public bank, Union Bank is still headquartered is this Queen Anne style building. With its brick veneered faηade, this building is one of the most impressive and sophisticated buildings in Morrisville's historic district. At one time the Town's library was on the second floor. The building also served as the Town Clerk's office from 1930 until 2006.
