"[Edward R.] Hyser conducted a hotel in a building provided by the railroad company, until early in the eighties, when he became the owner and proprietor of a hotel of his own which until near the close of the century, was the leading hotel of Breckenridge and the county. This building was destroyed by fire in December, 1908."
