Der seit 1496 belegte Hausname bedeutet sittich.
Das mittelalterliche Wohnhaus wird 1346 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt.
1892 wurde der Bau mit dem Haus «Goldene Gilge» vereinigt.

Unter Denkmalschutz seit 1974

The house name, documented since 1496, means “parakeet”. The medieval house was first mentioned in documents in 1346. In 1892 the building was combined with the «Goldene Gilge» house.
