The set-back Romanesque core building is from the early 13th century. The Front building from the 14th century with facade redesign in the late 16th century. In 1883, two floors were added and a battlement was added.
Site of the thermal baths of the Roman Vicus Turicum from the 1st to the early 5th century AD (visible remains in the passage on the left).
