1. Rensselaer County's First Courthouse Marker
Inscription. Built in 1793 on the southeast corner of Congress and 2nd Streets, the courthouse and jail were among the first buildings constructed in Troy with bricks furnished by the brick making business owned and operated by Ebenezer and his younger brother, Samuel Wilson “Uncle Sam”.
