1. General Store Marker

Inscription.
Replica of the James Thomas Johnson General Store originally located in the 600 block of Opdyke Street (present day location of the old Mt. Vernon Township High School football field). The store was constructed in the latter half of the 19th century and operated until 1920. The general store features the barber shop.
