1. Hickory Hill School Marker

Inscription. Sometimes called East Hickory Hill, this building represents the typical Illinois schoolhouse of the period. Originally located west of Bluford in Jefferson County. Several sizes and styles of desks accommodated the wide range of students in different grades.
