1. Cole & Brace Hardware Marker

Inscription. Built in 1898, it served as the home of Cole & Brace Hardware until the 1970's. The Post Office occupied the south side of the building for many years with the hardware store on the north side. The photograph taken in the early 1900's shows the hexagonal tower on the northeast corner. (Marker Number 12.)
