Regarding Water Tower.
This was Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios from 1924 to 1986. The Water Tower serves several purposes, including firefighting, and for filming flood scenes. The height of the tower creates high water pressure. The tank can hold up to 100,000 gallons.
Historic water towers are also found at the Disney and Warner Brothers studios in Burbank, and at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, but none of them have a historical plaque. The Disney water tower is the only one with more than four legs. It has six.
