1. Page-Ward House Marker

Inscription. Neoclassical Revival style house built for William Oscar Page (1870-1953), native of Warsaw, N.C., and wife Bertha Ida Barber (1872-1951). He owned the Greenfield Milling Company. Purchased in 1940 by Marsden Bruce Ward, Jr. (1896-1977), marine engineer and wife Martha Anne Sherman (1897-1984); remained in Ward family until 1986.
