1. Onze Lieve Vrouw van Fatima-kapel / Our Dear Lady of Fatima Chapel Marker
Inleiding:
De Paters van de H.H. Harten, een van oorsprong Franse kloostercongregatie (Parijs 1800), verbleven sinds 1920 in de Cauberg in Valkenburg. Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog kwamen deze paters iedere eerste vrijdag van de maand naar de Kapittelshof van Ingber en hielden daar, in het kader van devotie aan het Heilig Hart, "het Heilig uur". Toen na de Tweede Wereldoorlog deze maandelijkse verering afnam, ontstond er binnen Ingber de behoefte om er een andere invulling aan te geven.
Enkele inwoners kwamen op het idee om, mede omdat er in Ingber geen enkel religieus monument was, een kapel op te richten. Deze kapel moest tevens uitdrukken dat de bevolking van Ingber dankbaar was dat haar tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog groot leed bespaard was gebleven. Vanuit de bevolking werd enthousiast gereageerd en al snel werd er een Kapel-comitι opgericht. Besloten werd om de kapel op te dragen aan Onze Lieve Vrouw van Fatima.
Bouw kapel:
Op 25 januari 1949 is er een aanvraag bij de gemeente ingediend betreffende een vergunning voor de bouw van de kapel conform de tekening van architect H. Akkermans uit Gulpen. Na goedkeuring en inzameling van geld door de eigen inwoners ging men aan

Na de nodige voorbereidingen was het op 25 september 1949 zo ver. Na hiertoe goedkeuring verkregen te hebben van monseigneur G. Lemmens, bisschop van Roermond, mocht de kapel door de deken S.H. Schneiders worden ingezegend. Nadat het Mariabeeld aan de Hut was opgehaald, ging dit in processie naar de kapel.
Onder grote belangstelling zegende de deken, geassisteerd door de kapelaans Philippens en Claessens, de kapel en het Mariabeeld in en ging vervolgens voor in een kort lof. Ingber had nu haar eigen religieus monument, een plek waar de bewoners van Ingber konden bidden en gedenken.
Overal ter wereld wordt de jaarlijkse feestdag van Maria van Fatima op 13 mei gevierd. In Ingber werd tot circa 2020 in de maanden mei en oktober de Rozenkrans bij de kapel gebeden en daarnaast werden er ook geregeld novenen gebeden voor de zieke mensen. Vanaf de inzegening tot 1975 werd door vrijwilligers uit Ingber dagelijks om 12.00 uur het Angelusklokje handmatig geluid en in mei en oktober een kwartier voor aanvang van het Rozenkransgebed.
In 1989 bestond de kapel 40 jaar; dit werd groots gevierd. Bij gelegenheid van dit jubileum werd de kapel gerenoveerd. Het dak werd vernieuwd en het klokkentorentje werd verhoogd. In 1999 was het 50-jarig jubileum. Dit werd op 29 augustus gevierd met een eucharistieviering door monseigneur E. de Jong en deken J. Haffmans. In 2009 werd het 60-jarig jubileum gevierd. In de jubileumgids daarvan vinden we de eucharistieviering met pastoor-deken C. Clerx, hulpbisschop E. de Jong, monseigneur A. Franssen en diaken A. Bessems.
Bij gelegenheid van het 75-jarig jubileum op 30 juni 2024 is deze plaquette onthuld.

Our Dear Lady of Fatima Chapel
Introduction:
The Fathers of the Sacred Hearts, originally a French monastic congregation (Paris 1800), had been staying in the Cauberg in Valkenburg since 1920. During the Second World War, these fathers came to the Kapittelshof of Ingber every first Friday of the month and held "the Holy Hour" there, in the context of devotion to the Sacred Heart. When this monthly veneration declined after the Second World War, the need arose within Ingber to give it a different interpretation.
Some residents came up with the idea to build a chapel, partly because there was no religious monument in Ingber. This chapel was also supposed to express that the population of Ingber was grateful that they had been spared great suffering during the Second World War. The population responded enthusiastically and a Chapel Committee was soon established. It was decided to dedicate the chapel to Our Lady of Fatima.
Chapel Construction
On 25 January 1949, an application was submitted to the municipality for a permit to build the chapel according to the drawing by architect H. Akkermans from Gulpen. After approval and collection of money by the local residents, work started. The Our Lady of Fatima chapel is a roadside chapel built in limestone with a roof turret and bell.
After the necessary preparations, the time had come on September 25, 1949. After receiving approval from Monsignor G. Lemmens, Bishop of Roermond, the chapel was blessed by Dean S.H. Schneiders. After the statue of Mary had been collected from Hut, it went in procession to the chapel.
In the presence of great interest, the dean, assisted by chaplains Philippens and Claessens, blessed the chapel and the statue of Mary and then led a short eulogy. Ingber now had its own religious monument, a place where the residents of Ingber could pray and contemplate.
The annual feast day of Mary of Fatima is celebrated all over the world on 13 May. In Ingber, until around 2020, the Rosary was prayed at the chapel in the months of May and October, and novenas were also regularly prayed for the sick. From the blessing until 1975, volunteers from Ingber rang the Angelus bell manually every day at 12:00 and in May and October a quarter of an hour before the start of the Rosary prayer.
In 1989 the chapel existed for 40 years; this was celebrated on a grand scale. On the occasion of this anniversary the chapel was renovated. The roof was renewed and the bell tower was raised. This was also the moment to see whether the ringing of the bell could be reinstated. In 1992 this was arranged again, and now mechanically.
In 1999 the 50th anniversary was celebrated. This was celebrated on 29 August with a Eucharistic celebration by Monsignor E. de Jong and Dean J. Haffmans. In 2009 the 60th anniversary was celebrated. In the anniversary guide we find the Eucharistic celebration with pastor-dean C. Clerx, auxiliary bishop E. de Jong, Monsignor A. Franssen and deacon A. Bessems.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary on 30 June 2024 this plaque was unveiled.
