1. Burriss-Bunn House Marker

Inscription. Neoclassical Revival style house built for Sylvester S. Burriss (1842-1918), carpenter and Confederate veteran; and wife, Eliza Jane Hill (1852-1914). Purchased in 1919 by James Henry Bunn (1869-1955), cabinet maker; and wife, Nellie Taylor (1873-1956). Remained in family for forty-seven years.
