1. Cook-Matthews House Marker

Inscription. Queen Ann[e] style cottage built by Abraham B. Cook (1839-1908), carpenter, who constructed several buildings in the neighborhood; and wife, Eliza A. (1840-1912), as their residence. In 1913, purchased by daughter Allena C. Matthews (1860-1968); and husband, Samuel A. (1875-1938). Remained in the family until 1934
