1. Bellamy-Carnes House Marker

Inscription. Cottage built as investment property for Harriet Harlee Bellamy (1946-1924), native of Marion, SC, wife of Marsden Bellamy (1843-1909), attorney. Purchased in 1921 as investment property by Rev. George Downs Carnes (1873-1961), pastor of St. Stephen AME Church; and wife, Victoria Warrenton (1876-1960), natives of Georgia. House remained in family for forty-two years.
