1. Hall-Kelly House Marker

Inscription. Neoclassical Revival style house built for Edward Gallagher Hall (1877-1950), boilermaker; and wife, Algerenia Christinia Clemensen (1878-1957). During their ownership they altered the facade by adding a second-story bay window. Purchased in 1919 by Sampson County natives Bessie Q. Kelly (1879-1941) school teacher; and brother, Amos Edwin Kelly (1889-1962), clerk. The house remained in the family for sixty-one years.
