Inscription. Craftsman style bungalow built by Soloman Sternberger (1870-1945), dry goods merchant, for son, Julius Earl “Jinx” Sternberger (1897-1966), World War I veteran, realtor, director of Carolina Savings & Loan; and wife, Sadibel Simon (1904-1983), native of Columbus, GA, Life Master of American Contract Bridge League. Purchased in 1960 by John B. Small, Jr. (1934- ); and wife, Shirley Addison (1934- ), longtime high school and elementary school teachers.
