1. Original Town Limits of Statesville Marker

Inscription. Near here was one of the four original corners of the town limits of Statesville as established in 1789. The location of the original corners was reestablished by E.B. Stafford consulting engineer in 1975 and this marker was erected by the Iredell County American Revolution Bicentennial Commission in 1976.
