1. Westerman House Marker

Inscription. Italianate style house built for Henry Westerman (1838-1895) native of Germany, partner at E. Peschau and Westerman, wholesale grocers and commission merchants; and wife, Eugenia Catherine Peltier (1848-1919), native of France. Queen Anne style elements added to double-story front porch when owned by the Hanby-Debnam family who converted the house into apartments. They have owned the building since 1903.
