I wanted to thank you for having this on line and for Michael Herrick to have the taken the photos. I recently began a search for my grandfather. I do not recall too much about him and my mother does not have too much information on him. In searching I found this with his name listed on the marker, Joseph VonDietsch! I knew he was from Bridgeport, and served in the Army during WWII. Thank you!!
