1. Scarborough House Marker
Inscription. Cottage built for Wentworth Harris Scarborough (1864-1932), railroad blacksmith; and wife, Mary Alma Holden (1869-1937). They resided here for forty-four years. The house was purchased in 1947 by Byron Ferguson Sellers (1904-1970), native of Brunswick County, plumber; and wife, Isabell Armstrong (1914-1998), native of Pender County. House remained in family for fifty-one years.
