1. Kahnweiler-Duls House Marker
Inscription. Italianate style house built as investment for David Kahnweiler (1827-1899), dry goods merchant and inventor of cotton seed huller, and wife Mina (1840- ), natives of Bavaria. After successive owners it was purchased in 1904 as rental property by Lillie Haar Duls (1870-1945), native of Hanover, Germany. Remained in family until 1966.
