Inscription.
1855 erwarb der Lithograph Carl Späth das aus dem 17 Jahrhundert stammende Gebäude und richtete hier eine Buchdruckerei und Werkstätte ein. 1887-1937 zugleich Redaktion Verlag «Breisacher Zeitung», die 1907-1954 von dem Zentrumspolitiker Stadtrat Karl Maier herausgegeben wurde.

En 1855, le lithographe Carl Späth acquit, ce bâtiment datant du 17e siècle et y aménagea une imprimerie. De 1887 à 1937, simultanément siège de la rédaction et des éditions du « Breisacher Zeitung » (Journal de Breisach), publié de 1907 à 1934 par l’homme politique : Centriste et conseiller municipal, Kart Maier.

In 1855, the lithographer Carl Späth acquired the 17th century building and set up a printing press and workshop here. 1887-1937 [he] also was editor of the publishing house Breisacher Zeitung, which was published from 1907 to 1954 by the Centrist politician, city councilor Karl Maier.
