Inscription.
The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 1840, in commemoration of the bicentennial year of the birth of our founding Rector, The Rev. Dr. George Washington Dame 1812-1895, names and dedicates the Parish House Dame Hall on this 28th day of September in the year of our Lord 2012.

This plaque has been placed at the entrance of the building to stand as acknowledgement of Dr. Dame's extraordinary and lasting contributions to Epiphany, the community of Danville and Pittsylvania County, and the greater Commonwealth.

Rev. George Washington Dame was buried in Green Hill Cemetery in Danville, after serving as Rector of the Epiphany Episcopal Church for 55 consecutive years.
