Airborne
The names listed below are those of men who earned the U.S. Army Airborne Wings. They volunteered out of a neighborhood that measures approximately one quarter of a square mile in area. This is believed to be the nation's largest per capita concentration of paratroopers to issue from such a small and sparsely populated area. Officers and enlisted men from this group have fought in every major conflict in which the U.S. Army Airborne has served.
