Old City Wall
To the north, a remaining section of the old city wall from the 14th century.
The “Geisturm” tower stood at its western end on the Rhine until 1800. Until 1839 the residential building now on the Eckartsberg hill accommodated the restaurant “Zum Schweizer” (The Swiss Man), mentioned as early as the 18th century.
In the garden to the south of the Eckartsberg Steps, the ruins of the tea pavilion of the former hotel “Zum Rheinbad” built in 1838-39 and destroyed in 1945.

Richtung Norden ein Rest der alten Stadtmauer aus dem 14.Jahrhundert. An ihrem westlichen Ende am Rhein stand bis um 1800 der Geisturm.
Das heutige Wohnaus am Eckartsberg beherbergte bis 1839 die bereits im 18.Jahrhundert erwähnte Gaststätte «Zum Schweizer». Im Garten südlich der Eckartsbergtreppe die Ruine des 1945 zerstörten Teepavillons des ehemaligen Hotels «Zum Rheinbad» (erbaut 1838/39).

Au nord, se trouve un vestige des anciens remparts du 14e siècle. A l'extrémité ouest des remparts, au bord du Rhin, se trouvait, jusque vers 1800, le Geisturm. L'actuelle maison sur l'Eckartsberg, accueillait jusqu'en 1839 l'auberge «Zum Schweizer» (Au Suisse), mentionnée dès le 18e siècle. Dans le jardin, au sud de l'escalier qui mène à l'Eckartsberg se trouvent les ruines du pavillon à thé de l'ancien hôtel « Zum Rheinbad» (Aux Bains du Rhin) construit en 1838/39 et détruit en 1945.
