Gedenktafel des Kurmärkischen Dragoner- Regiments Nr. 14, . das 1871 - 1918 in Colmar stationiert war. 1929 wurde auf der Südseite des Eckartsberges ein 12 Meter hoher Obelisk nach einem Entwurf des Architekten Prof. Karl Gruber (1885 - 1966) als zentrales Denkmal dieses Regiments errichtet. Es wurde im Zweiten Weltkrieg schwer beschädigt und danach abgetragen., 1962 fand die Einweihung dieser von dem Freiburger Bildhauer Walter Schelenz (1903 -1987) gestalteten Gedenktafel Statt.,
Memorial plaque of the Kurmark Dragoon Regiment No. 14 . which was stationed in Colmar from 1871 to 1918. In 1929, a 12-meter-high obelisk designed by the architect Prof. Karl Gruber (1885-1966) was erected on the south side of the Eckartsberg as the central monument to this regiment. It was badly damaged in the Second World War and then dismantled., The inauguration of this memorial plaque, designed by the Freiburg sculptor Walter Schelenz (1903-1987), took place in 1962.
