Inscription.

This former private mansion was built by the Ammeister (the city's first magistrate) Daniel Müeg then his son-in-law

Ingold in the 16th century. It was later owned by a succession of distinguished Alsatian families including the Dietrichs and Zorn de Bulachs, after whom it was finally named. The façade has retained some Renaissance- style features, like the rectangular oriel window supported by a moulded corbel and shells decorating the porch. The buildings surrounding the interior courtyard date from the Late Gothic and Renaissance periods, and feature a corner tower containing a spiral staircase.
