"This memorial is dedicated in sincere tribute to the
living and dead whose valiant efforts and unselfish sacrifice
have made America great. That freedom might live,
Sons and Daughters of Miles Township served unselfishly
their country's cause in World War I, World War II and the
Korean Conflict. God grant that the liberty of humanity,
won only by brave souls and vigilantly guarded, shall live
on with increased strength and spirit, perpetuated
for all ages to come."
