Inscription. This building was referred to as the Arnold Building, constructed by R.A. Arnold in 1900 for his hardware store. It replaced a frame building. The Radio Shop, founded by Walter Medearis and Carl Marsh, moved here from down the street during the 1940's and changed its name to Medearis Home Furnishings. In the late 1970s, Centerville Home Furnishings bought out Medearis and remained here for several years. Dell Wayne Etheridge bought the building in 1996 and moved Dale's Superstyles here from the west side of the square. The faηade of the building was remodeled, and apartments were configured on the second floor. The building was sold in 2012 and later became New Beginnings Salon, under new management. The interior of the building was remodeled in 2023.
