Inscription.

The oldest building on campus, Dutcher Hall was built in 1890 as a gymnasium. During the 1950s and 1960s, the building was known as "The Rat" when it served as the student union. It was rededicated in 1974 as Dutcher Hall and is now used for the theatre program. In 2006, a renovation/addition was completed that matched the original architecture.
