Lewis and Etelka Berkenstock Lemke built this large Spanish Eclectic Revival home in 1928. One of the finest estates built by the second generation of pioneer Placentia families, the house is a fine example of the long, low informal "hacienda" style of Spanish architecture. In 2002 the garage/barn in the rear was torn down and a church was built in its place. The house, however, was not altered during the construction.(Submitted on January 15, 2025, by Tatiana Zavala of Orange County, California.)
