Le Palais de la Nation
S'inscrivant dans l'axe de l'allée centrale du Parc, cet ensemble néoclassique fut bâti entre 1778 et 1783 d'après les plans de B. Guimard pour abriter le Conseil souverain du Brabant. Le bâtiment, devenu Palais de la Nation au lendemain de la Révolution belge et actuel parlement, connut de nombreux aménagements, agrandissements et autres reconstructions au fil du temps et au gré de ses affectations successives, ce qui explique l'évolution du plan et de la décoration intérieure ainsi que le nombre impressionnant d'architectes et d'artistes qui l'ont façonné: L. Montoyer, Ch. Vander Straeten, H. Beyaert, T.-F. Suys, G.-L. Godecharle, G. Minne, E. Simonis, L. Gallait...

Het Paleis Der Natie
Dit neoklassieke complex, in de verlenging van de centrale wandeldreef van het Warandepark, werd gebouwd van 1778 tot 1783 naar de plannen van B. Guimard en was bedoeld voor de Soevereine Raad van Brabant. Na de Omwenteling werd dit gebouw het Paleis der Natie en het huisvest thans het Belgisch Parlement. Het werd in de loop van de tijd vaak vergroot, verbouwd en heraangelegd in functie van de opeenvolgende bestemmingen, hetgeen de talrijke veranderingen in de plannen en binnenversieringen verklaart, evenals het indrukwekkend aantal architecten en kunstenaars die eraan hebben meegewerkt :

The Palace of the Nation
Built in the axis of the central alley of the Royal Park, this neo-classic edifice was built between 1778 and 1783 by B. Guimard to host the Sovereign Council of Brabant. The building became the "Palace of the Nation" after the Belgian Revolution and is now the Belgian Parliament. Over the years, and according to its successive assignments, it has gone through many rearrangements. was often enlarged and restored, which explains the evolution of its structure and interior decoration, as well as the impressive list of architects and artists who have contributed to it : L. Der Palast der Nation
In der Achse der zentralen Allee des Parks wurde dieser neoklassizistische Gebäudekomplex in den Jahren 1778 bis 1783 nach Plänen von B. Guimard erbaut, um den souveränen Rat von Brabant aufzunehmen. Das Gebäude, das kurz nach der belgischen Revolution zum Palast der Nation wurde und heute das Parlament aufnimmt, erlebte im Laufe der Zeit und je nach seinen aufeinanderfolgenden Verwendungszwecken zahlreiche Erweiterungen, Vergrößerungen und andere Umbauten, was die Entwicklung des Plans und der Innenausstattung
