1. Sarah and Robert Shelley House Marker
Inscription.
The oldest building around the Green, originally a family home for the Shelley Family. Note the original roofline of the colonial dwelling. Joesph Griffing, the first U.S. Government keeper of Faulkner's Island Lighthouse, lived here in retirement, 1812-1839. The Cianciolo family operated a fruit and vegetable store in this building for 46 years.
