1. Pratt Institute Main Building Marker

Inscription. Built from 1885 to 1887, and designed by Lamb & Rich, this Romanesque building is distinguished by its central clock and picturesque corner towers. Attached to the Main Building are two wings: the Renaissance Revival South Hall, designed by William b. Tubby and built from 1926 to 1927, and the Romanesque Memorial Hall, designed by John Mead Howells and built from 1926 to 1927. This tree structure group provides an elegant focal point for the Pratt campus.

Erected 1989 by New York Landmarks Preservation Foundation.
