1 Harriman Fountain
This fountain was dedicated to the memory of Edward Henry Harriman in 1911 and is inscribed He lives in the memory of his friends. It was designed by Francis Burrall Hoffman.
2 Everett Memorial
Erected in 1917, this monument honors the memory of the soldiers and sailors who served in the Civil War.
3 First Presbyterian Church
The first church was organized in 1720 and the current edifice was erected in 1871. It features a three panel Tiffany window.
4 Veterans Memorial
This relatively new monument honors the fallen veterans of the First and Second World Wars as well as the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf Wars.
5 Historic Track, 1838
First half-mile harness track in the U.S. It is still in use today and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
6 Town Hall
The School House, built in 1773, where Noah Webster taught from 1782 to 1783, is incorporated in this building that is now the seat of government for the Town of Goshen.
7 St. James Episcopal Church
In 1804, the year following its incorporation, the first white frame church on this site was completed. The current church was built in 1853.
8 Wisner Memorial
This monument was erected in honor of patriot Henry Wisner, delegate to the Continental Congress and opponent of the Constitution, by his granddaughter Frances Wisner Murry in 1897.
9 Goshen Inn
Built in 1912 by patrons of Harness Racing, this structure is an exact replica of an Elizabethan Inn located in Melbourne, England.
10 Orange County Courthouse
This building, in Greek Revival style, still stands as it did in 1841 and was in use as a courthouse until 1970. It is known for its ghost stories and legends.
11 Orange Blossom Monument, 1907
This monument memorializes the 124th Infantry Volunteers of the Civil War. Affectionately known as the Orange Blossoms, of the 1,282 men who left Goshen, only 283 remained at the end of the war.
12 Harness Racing Museum, 1912
Originally a stable, it became a museum for the Hall of Fame of the Trotter in 1951 for Harness Racing memorabilia.
13 Maplewood, 1816
Originally the residence of Ambrose Murray, this building subsequently became the National Bank of Orange County. Since 1976 it has been the Village Hall.
14 Goshen United
Methodist Church, 1884
Architecturally notable edifice with fine brick work accented by terra cotta trim.
15 Old County Building, 1887
For years housed all the Orange County government offices. Restored in 1990-1991.
16 Minisink Memorial
Erected in 1862 to mark the graves of the Goshen men massacred in the Battle of Minisink in 1779.
17 Goshen Public Library and Historical Society, 1918
This building is the repository of local historical archives.
18 Music Hall, 1889
This building was constructed as an auditorium for musical and dramatic presentations. Recently renovated to serve as offices, it is also the home of the Goshen Chamber of Commerce.
